We received a call from a gentleman in Bothel who had a fast leak from the pipe to his outside tap.Our plumber Bothel was at the property within 30 minutes of the call and found a nasty split in the pipe which was caused by frost.

The gentleman had been at home in Bothel when it happened so had been able to isolate the water promptly which was fortunate.

Our plumber Bothel replaced the copper pipe for more weather resistant plastic pipe and covered it in new pipe insulation for a job well done.

The gentleman said he was absolutely delighted with the service we had offered.

Whilst we strive to offer the very best and fastest service possible there are things you can do to help your situation.

Firstly its extremely important that you know where your main indoor water stop tap is located. This is usually a large tap at the back of the cupboard under the kitchen sink.

This should be turned clockwise and when you run a cold water tap it should slow down and stop. If it still runs but at a slower rate then it probably just needs a harder turn.

The second thing to know is the location of your main outside stop valve.

This is usually outside at the front of the house and will have the word WATER or the letter W on the front.

There are many farms and the like in the Bothel area and sometimes the outside water stop tap can be in a more unusual place. I have even been to jobs where its about three fields away from the property , although thats very rare. If you just cant find it and need some advice please feel free to give us a call any time and we will be happy to offer any advice.

So if you are in Bothel and need an emergency plumber call 01900 878334 for fast immediate service.
