The other day we received a call from The Derby Arms Witherslack near Grange Over Sands where a shower was constantly running.
The business had only recently opened again with the lifting of Covid restrictions and all the rooms upstairs were booked which must have been very welcome.
One shower was constantly running and this needed to be fixed urgently, we were happy to have been of service.
The fault lay with the thermostatic shower valve which was causing the shower to run constantly at high pressure.
Since a replacement valve was unavailable that day, our plumber installed a new Mira mixer shower much to the relief of the paying guests and of course the management.
